Event Assistant – Pairé Charm Bar (Part-Time)

Schedule: Part-time / weekends and select evenings

Pairé Charm Bar is a Chattanooga-based jewelry brand offering a personalized, hands-on experience through pop-ups, retail collaborations, and private events. We specialize in the curation and assembly of tarnish-resistant, customizable charm jewelry—inviting guests to design meaningful necklaces, bracelets, and earrings on the spot.

 

We’re seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented assistant to help bring the Pairé experience to life across markets and events, ensuring every guest feels inspired and cared for.

 

Role Overview

As a Part-Time Event Assistant, you’ll help set up and run the charm bar, organize displays, assist customers in designing their jewelry, assemble their pieces, and manage basic sales transactions. You’ll be part of a small, creative team that values connection, storytelling, and excellent customer experiences.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and teardown (charm cart, displays, jewelry trays, signage, pop-up tent as needed, etc.)
   

• Engage with customers in a warm, approachable way — helping them design charm combinations and build their pieces
   

• Operate the Square POS system and handle cash or card transactions accurately
   

• Help with inventory management — restocking charms, and packaging materials
   

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing booth throughout events
   

• Assist with private events (birthday parties, bridal showers, etc.) and support host experience
   

• Occasionally assist with content capture (taking photos/videos during events)
   

• Represent the Pairé brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and kindness

 

Requirements

 

• Available on weekends and occasional weekday evenings
   

• Must have reliable transportation to attend off-site pop-ups and private events
   

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, people-oriented environments
   

• Retail and market experience highly preferred
   

• Detail-oriented, organized, and good with hands-on tasks
   

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
   

• Basic familiarity with Square or other point-of-sale systems (training provided)
   

• Interest in jewelry-making, retail, small business, or a creative field is a plus!
